On Thursday,19 February, 2026, in the event hall of TEE-AM (2 Votsi Street, Kavala), the 6th Meeting of the Local Action Team (LAP Team) was successfully held.

The LAP BLACK project is being implemented in collaboration with Istanbul Technical University (Turkey) as Lead Partner, the Municipalities of Sakarya (Turkey) and Kobuleti (Georgia), the Ukrainian Association of Business Support Centers (UABSC), and the Municipality of Kavala (Greece).

📌 During the 6th Local Action Group (LAP Team) Meeting:

  • presented ongoing actions under the LAP BLACK project,
  • discussed the results of the flood risk analysis,
  • worked hands-on with historical climate data and climate projections,
  • and took important steps toward shaping the LAP Plan.

🌊 The flood risk findings helped us better understand local vulnerabilities and priorities for action.

📊 Through an interactive session, participants explored practical tools for using climate data to support informed, evidence-based decision-making.

🤝 Productive discussions and active participation once again demonstrated the strong commitment to strengthening local resilience to climate change in the Black Sea Region.
