The LAP BLACK project (BSB00353), carried out under the European Union Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, opens the Environment and Cleanup Festival on 22 October 2026 at the Sustainable Climate Park.
Students will walk through the park and see environmentally friendly technologies and everyday practices for sustainable living up close. On site are energy-generating benches, an air quality measuring device, a water-production device, recycling bins and a composting machine.
The STEM workshops bring science, technology, engineering and mathematics together. The aim is for students to gain both knowledge and hands-on experience in climate change, renewable energy, recycling and ecology.
The festival is organised for a generation that strengthens environmental awareness, connects science with experience and contributes to a sustainable future.
